Description
The CNC-milled threaded inserts made of high-quality brass alloy are practical accessories that can be used to convert 3D-printed plastic parts (made of PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.) into practical and versatile components.
The cadmium and lead-free threaded inserts are inserted or melted into place with a soldering iron. They increase the strength of the resulting connection by connecting the threaded insert to the material and staying firmly in place.
Tip: For maximum connection strength, install the brass inserts at 10-20¡ãC higher than the printing temperature. CNC Kitchen also recommends that only 90% of the threaded inserts be melted with a soldering iron - the rest can be fitted into the component with a tool.
