PrintSmooth Gear Grease, 2 g

With Bondtech's PrintSmooth gear grease you can effectively extend the life of the drive train on your LGX extruder. This is an NLGI class 2 lubricant, which consists of a polyalphaolefin (PAO) based oil and a barium complex soap thickener (Berutox FB 22 from Bechem).

The gear grease can be used for long periods at high speeds and shows good consistency-temperature behaviour as well as excellent water resistance. It has excellent corrosion and wear protection and offers a working temperature range of -40 to +180 °C.

The included gear grease is sufficient for approx. 10 applications.

Tips:

The main gears should be checked every 100 operating hours. If the grease is not present, it should be reapplied.

It is best to apply PrintSmooth to all steel teeth of the drive train and to the needle bearings every 6 months if the LGX Steel Drive Train is only used for 15 hours or less per week. If you use the LGX extruder more often, you can use the gear grease every 4 months.
