Built to industrial quality, the Snapmaker Ray is Snapmaker's first standalone laser engraver and laser cutter, available with your choice of either 20W or 40W laser power. With Air Assist support, a massive 400 x 600 mm working area and a maximum working speed of 500 mm/s, you not only get ease of use, performance and precision in one, but the state-of-the-art device also supports over 20 materials for engraving and more than 10 to cut!

The maximum working speed of the Snapmaker Ray is 500 mm/s, which makes the laser cutter and engraver a real workhorse!

Working area of ??400 ¡Á 600 mm

With a working area of ??400 ¡Á 600 mm, even large projects such as cards, furniture models or door signs can be implemented with ease.

Thanks to a cylindrical base that can be attached to both the device itself and the laser bed, projects up to 160 mm thick can be lasered. Not even engraving thick objects like guitars poses a problem for the device.

20W or would you prefer 40W laser power?

Both laser modules (20W/40W) are equipped with eight laser diodes. In the first step, the built-in laser beam shapers compress the laser spot of each individual diode. The laser beams from all eight laser diodes are then combined using the latest laser beam combination technology. This not only results in a higher output power but also a higher energy density.

Precision-engineered linear rails

Snapmaker Ray features durable and robust industrial-grade linear rails that ensure stability and precision even during high-speed movements.

Smart Air Assist

Snapmaker Ray is equipped with intelligent Air Assist to improve the quality of your work. Air Assist has the following tasks:

1. Air is pumped into the Air Assist.
2. Fumes are blown away, preventing charring.
3. The laser lens is kept clean.
4. Vapours are removed through the grid table.

Class 1 safety enclosure

Snapmaker Ray comes with a safety enclosure that can reduce laser hazards from Class 4 to Class 1 as well as exhaust any smoke and dust with its exhaust fan.

Thanks to a door detection sensor on the housing, the laser process is stopped immediately and automatically after the door is opened.

Snapmaker Luban Software

With the Luban software developed by Snapmaker, you have the opportunity to always keep an eye on the configuration of your work processes. With different modes and preset parameters, your engraving and laser-cutting projects can be completed in no time.

Snapmaker also makes an extensive library of more than 1000 ready-to-use templates of shapes, patterns and symbols freely available.
