Resin heating system for optimum printing results

Low ambient temperatures can have a negative impact on the properties of resin - the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K has the solution. Its integrated heating tank ensures that the resin always remains at the optimum temperature and the print success rate is increased.

• Automatic temperature measurement: Precise sensors measure the temperature in real-time and show it on the display.
• Efficient heating: Even at an ambient temperature of 5 °C and a humidity of 50 %, the resin is heated to 25 °C in just 26 minutes.

The heating tank supports both standard and special resins, giving you maximum flexibility in your choice of material!

Intelligent mechanical sensors

The Saturn 4 Ultra 16K has sophisticated mechanical sensors that monitor the printing process and detect potential problems early on to prevent printing errors or damage.

With the Resin Shortage Alarm, the printer monitors the resin level in real-time. If the fill level is below the MIN line or exceeds the MAX line, an alarm is triggered. Before printing, the device calculates the required amount of resin. If there is insufficient resin, you will be prompted to top it up. You can either cancel the print, add resin and start again or top up the resin during the print. If the required amount of resin exceeds the maximum capacity of the tank, you will also be notified during the print.

Residue detection: If the Z-axis detects residue during shutdown, you will receive a warning. In this case, troubleshooting is required to prevent damage to the LCD surface.

Automatic levelling monitoring: The printer automatically levels itself when the build platform is lowered. If the automatic levelling fails, you will be prompted to readjust manually.

Resin level monitoring: If the resin level does not reach the minimum limit or no resin is detected, a message appears to cancel the print and rectify the cause.
