Special PP filament in collaboration with Repsol in natural colour
The revolutionary new polypropylene filament from Recreus was developed in collaboration with Repsol. This great synergy has enabled Repsol Chemical's contribution and vast experience in the manufacture of polyolefins to bring high-quality polypropylene to the market. Without a doubt, a collaboration that has resulted in an exceptional polypropylene (PP) for 3D printing that has fantastic applicability in many areas.
As a novelty, the filament is supplied with a primer that is applied to the surface of the printer before printing. We achieve the maximum adhesion of the PP at only 40°C and thus an optimal result for our end piece!
The Recreus PP3D polypropylene filament has exceptional fatigue resistance, high toughness and a low coefficient of friction. It is a material of choice for prototyping and end-use parts. The matte finish is impressive, similar to injection moulding, which eliminates the appreciation of union between layers. As a result, you get a piece of very high quality and exceptional finish.

Applications
Filament PP3D + primer
The polypropylene filament spool is accompanied by a primer container that must be applied to the surface of the printer before each print in order to achieve the best result. The success of printing your parts is based on the perfect combination and application of this primer together with the filament. It is very important that you carefully read the instructions below on how to use the primer before you start printing.
Instructions for use:
Follow the next steps:
IMPORTANT!
The same primer layer can be used for 1 or 2 additional prints. To do this, reheat the bed to 40°C each time before printing the new piece and, after the process is complete, raise the temperature of the bed to 85°C to remove it.
Recommended printing parameters:
Printing temperature: 230 oC Print speed: 40 mm / s Heating bed temperature: 40°C after applying the "primer" Optimal layer height: 0.2 mm Minimum nozzle diameter: 0.4 - 0.6 mm Retraction for Direct Drive: 3.2 mm Retraction for Bowden: 6 mm Retraction speed for Direct Drive: 40 mm / s Retraction speed for Bowden: 25 mm / s
