MMU3 Assembled Unit

With the MMU3 assembled unit from Prusa, you can turn your single-extruder printer into a true all-rounder. This extension allows you to print with up to five colours or materials at the same time. Simply load the desired filaments into the MMU3, slice your object in the PrusaSlicer and it takes care of the rest. The MMU3 automatically selects the filament, loads it into the extruder and printing begins. Changing the colour or material? Also performed by the system!

Efficient multi-colour printing

Change colours without chaos? No problem! With every colour change, the MMU3 ensures that previous material residues are completely removed from the nozzle tip with an efficient cleaning tower: a compact block next to the printed object collects the old filament and stabilises the print flow. This keeps your workplace clean and you don't have to worry about plastic residue.

The PrusaSlicer also saves filament and minimises waste: Use the "wipe into infill" function, where the infill of the object serves as a cleaning tower, or the "wipe into object" function to print a second, colourful object - ideal for functional parts that you'll have to paint later anyway.

The MMU3 is incredibly easy to use, maintain and repair. Thanks to more reliable filament switching, improved communication between the MMU3 and the printer and automatic self-diagnostics, even complex projects are a breeze.
