The BIGTREETECH Kraken V1.1 is a 32-bit motherboard designed specifically for high-capacity printers. The motherboard has an integrated high-voltage and high-current stepper motor driver, which facilitates the connection to high-voltage drivers and significantly reduces the complexity of the housing. The space-saving Kraken board is equipped with heat sinks in ID design for effective heat dissipation.

Wide compatibility for effortless control
The Kraken motherboard has 8 TMC2160 drivers. As these support a wide voltage range of 24V-60V, not only is seamless compatibility guaranteed, but the performance and efficiency of your large-scale 3D printer is also significantly increased. At the same time, there is a 52% reduction in heat generation, which means that the individual components have a longer service life and can withstand high loads.
Simultaneous operation of two print heads
A powerful H723 chip with special connections allows the simultaneous operation of two print heads. This allows both print heads to perform their function smoothly and maximise the overall efficiency of the 3D printer without having to compromise on quality.
Thanks to two CAN interfaces, both print heads can be connected simultaneously to the EBB (Extruder Breakout Board) to enable versatile 3D printing configurations.
Versatile connectivity
The motherboard can be connected to external Single Board Computers (SBC) such as BTT PI and Raspberry Pi for more flexibility. A separate interface for the power supply provides additional ease of use.
Supports precise temperature control
For precise temperature control, the Kraken motherboard supports two MAX31865 channels and two channels with PT100/PT1000 resistors.
High Current Output
Kraken has M1-M4 sockets for up to 4.7A output and M5-M8 for up to 3A output. In this way, the compatibility of high-performance motors can be optimally combined with improved control.
Two JST sockets with CAN support
The CAN module ensures stable and reliable data transmission and easy connection of two EBB SB2240/2209 CAN boards. This allows either a StealthBurner or other CAN devices to be expanded for additional functions.
All-round motherboard protection
eFuse with auto-grade circuit shield:
An eFuse circuit protects the motherboard from potential damage and ensures long-lasting reliability during extended use. With fast shutdown in case of overload and self-recovery, eFuse provides maintenance-free protection that meets the highest safety standards.

Thermistor leakage protection:
Additional thermistor protection circuits prevent damage to the control chip and ensure fail-safe operation.
