Filter P3D-R

The P3D-R filter from Alveo3D was specially developed for use with AlveoDIY, Original Prusa Enclosure and BCN3D EPSILON W50/W27. The filter reliably captures dangerous emissions and unpleasant odours that arise when printing with various filaments.

Equipped with a HEPA 13 filter made of cotton and activated carbon, the P3D-R achieves an impressive retention rate of 99.95% for particles with a size of 300 nm. The activated carbon effectively neutralizes odours and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), extending the life of the filter to up to 600 hours.

This filter is compatible with a wide range of filaments including ABS, PLA, PET/PETG, HIPS, nylon and many more. It effectively eliminates VOCs (styrene and benzene) and UFPs that can be released from 3D printing filaments and cause respiratory and other health problems.

Efficient air circulation and installation

The P3D-R filter works efficiently by drawing air through the filter before releasing it back into the environment. This design minimises the risk of backflow because the entire volume of air is filtered beforehand.

Installation inside the enclosure maximises filtration efficiency by capturing emissions directly before they can spread into the environment.

• Pull tab: The practical tabs allow you to pull out the filter without touching the contaminated surfaces.

• 5 mm EPDM foam: The EPDM foam ensures optimal sealing of the connection all around and on the front.
