Description
When printing, materials are exposed to excessive moisture, which can impair print quality. Brittle filaments, air bubbles, deformed edges or unsightly strings in the print are not uncommon consequences.
eSUN's eBOX Lite is great for keeping your eSUN filaments dry and also keeping them away from moisture during printing. The dust-protected dry box with a heating function maintains constant temperatures and humidity to preserve the quality of the printed models.
Thanks to a transparent cover, the amount of remaining filament can be observed in real-time.
The heating system
The eBOX Lite features a curved heating plate and a sheet metal heat baffle, which not only ensures a more even heat output but also maintains constant temperatures and humidity. For this, the filament dryer is equipped with thermal protection and flame-retardant cotton insulation on both sides.
The eBOX Lite is equipped with a durable and quiet turbofan!
Compatibility with filaments
Even though the dry box is specifically designed for eSUN filaments, it is compatible with most conventional filaments. Requirements that these filaments have to meet:
- 0.5 or 1 kg weight
- 1.75 or 2.85 mm diameter
- Maximum capacity: 200 x 73 mm
Note: Unlike its predecessor eBOX, the eBOX Lite drying system for filaments does not include a weighing function!
