For small and large objects

The CR-Scan Otter can easily capture objects of different sizes. Whether small objects such as coins or large objects such as entire vehicles, with its scanning range of 10 x 10 x 10 mm3 to 2000 x 2000 x 2000 mm3 there are no limits to this compact all-rounder!

Four lenses for more possibilities

Two pairs of double lenses are not only suitable for the precise capture of objects of different sizes, but also of complex structures and details. While the long-focal lens pair is used for scanning small objects with detailed reproduction, the short-focal lens pair mainly scans large areas of large objects.

Ultra-high precision

To ensure that the authentic texture and contours of real objects are reproduced as faithfully as possible, CR-Scan Otter uses the state-of-the-art structured-light stereo matching algorithm and the ultra-modern optical design. With an accuracy of up to 0.02 mm, every small detail is captured sharply and clearly.

Face and body algorithm, no fear of eye damage

A face and body mode features a unique facial imaging algorithm for better detail capture. With the CR-Scan Otter, the entire human body can be scanned in just 2 minutes.

The near-infrared light used, with a Class 1 laser safety rating, is invisible to the human eye and therefore not harmful for scanning skin and face.

Possibility of outdoor scanning

Using advanced DOE (Diffractive Optical Element) 3D structure light technology, the CR-Scan Otter adapts to environmental conditions and maintains excellent performance even in stronger sunlight.

Full-colour scan for true-to-life reproduction

Equipped with a full-colour RGB camera (1 million pixels) and an exclusive colour mapping algorithm, it enables clear capture of details as well as realistic textures and colours. The 3D scanner is equipped with two additional LED lights to provide a full view of the object to be scanned even in dimly lit environments.

Supports marker scanning

For those scan objects that have fewer scan features, 8 infrared lights can better track individual marker points. In marker mode, higher accuracy is achieved.
