Blue Scanning Spray

AESUB Blue is a self-evaporating scanning spray developed by scanning experts. The spray evaporates within a few hours so that no time-consuming cleaning of the object and surroundings is required after scanning.

Unlike conventional sprays, AESUB Blue does not contain any pigments and therefore avoids pigment contamination in sensitive areas such as laboratories and production facilities, as well as for equipment and users.

Despite modern 3D scanners, there are challenges in many applications and a matting spray is required to achieve good contrast values and accurate measurement results. This is particularly the case with transparent and reflective parts and recesses. The scanning spray eliminates interfering factors such as differences in the reflective properties, texture and/or colour of the scan object.

When used correctly, AESUB Blue forms a matt, thin and homogeneous coating on the surface of the object to be scanned. This provides the ideal conditions for accurate optical capture. In addition to the active ingredient, AESUB Blue contains a propellant gas and solvent. The formulation has been designed to maximise material compatibility. Independent laboratory tests came to the conclusion that AESUB Blue volatilises completely and leaves no residue.
