Description
Phaetus' Apus Extruder is an all-metal construction weighing 155g, equipped with a small, efficient Nema stepper motor for high print speeds.
Optimised RNC dual drive gears
With a transmission ratio of 6.3:1, the APUS extruder ensures high torque. The special gear design of the optimised Dual Drive Gear system features the same number of hardened RNC steel teeth that have a polished surface. The RNC hardening process guarantees their wear resistance and excellent grip.
Excellent filament feeding and stable extrusion
The teeth of the gear have been optimised to optimally grip all types of filament. A narrowed filament path ensures fast filament feeding and ensures smooth and stable extrusion. A specially developed manual wheel design allows you to load or unload the filament quickly and easily.
"Three-screw-system" for easy maintenance
The extruder has a so-called three-screw-system, which means that its maintenance can be carried out in very simple steps. First, two screws are loosened to be able to remove the hotend, then another screw, which loosens the idler. This system also facilitates hotend access and quick replacement.
High compatibility with hotends
The hotend attachment has high compatibility with Phaetus and DropEffect hotends. However, the attachment also gives the option to be redesigned and reprinted to ensure even greater compatibility with other hotends on the market.
