Description

Upgrade your first-generation AMS system with the SUNLU AMS Heater! The heater replaces the top cover of the AMS and upgrades the system's functionality. While conventional AMS setups require the filament to be dried externally before printing, this upgrade allows for simultaneous drying and printing directly within the device. This saves time, minimises moisture during the printing process, and optimises print quality.

Efficient heating without heat build-up

Within 20 minutes, the heater reaches an impressive 70¡ãC, and evenly at that!. The dual airflow system ensures that the warm air circulates well and there are no hot spots ¨C ideal for preventing warping or material problems.

Intelligent control of temperature & humidity

Thanks to intelligent humidity monitoring (RH), the heater knows exactly when it needs to be on:

Standard heating temperature in humid mode: 55¡ãC (adjustable),
Running time preset to 6 hours,
Subsequently, automatic activation at 50% RH ¨C and switch off at 20%
In RH mode, you can set the target humidity yourself (between 25% and 50%)

Up to 16 colours!

The heater is fully compatible with the AMS. Best of all, you can print up to 16 colours (stacked), saving even more space on your desk.

PTC heater

With PTC heating technology and double protection, you are always on the safe side:

Real-time temperature monitoring,
Automatic shutdown in case of overheating or fan problems: (automatic stop if the temperature rises more than 10 °C above the set point, if the temperature does not rise as expected, if the fan fails)
Drying stops automatically when the set time has elapsed.
