40W Laser Modul

The powerful 40 W Laser Module by Snapmaker is specially designed as an add-on for Snapmaker 2.0 and Snapmaker Artisan to upgrade them to much more powerful desktop laser cutters.

What is the 40 W module equipped with?

Smart Air Assist incl. Air Assist pump,

Improve the quality of your work with Air Assist:

• Air is pumped into the Air Assist.
• Vapours are blown away, preventing charring.
• The lens is kept clean.
• Vapours are dissipated through the grid table.

Air Assist can be operated via open-source Luban software. Which means that for pieces where you are both engraving and laser cutting, you do not need to use Air Assist on all layers. In Luban, set Air Assist to activate only when cutting so you don't have to manually turn it on or off for each layer.

Luban also offers an extensive library of ready-to-use templates with various patterns, shapes, fonts and symbols that you can use to creatively complete your inspirations.

Common laser material profiles are also available. You can access recommended, ready-made parameters and start working immediately!

Built-in quick-change module mechanism,

Auto-focus or focusing lever to focus the laser,

To auto-focus, you can calibrate the focus by entering the material thickness on the touch screen.

A focus lever can also be used to focus the laser. Release the focus lever and move the tool head down until the focus lever touches the material by adjusting the Z offset on the touchscreen.
